Graduate Student, Payam Amiri, Attends Conference to Present Novel Microfluidic Platform

Graduate student, Payam Amiri, attended the microTAS 2017 conference in October in order to present his microfluidic based Leukocyte Depletion module. His project focuses on blood exchange in mice in order to understand the effect of the cellular components of blood on aging. This international conference, held in Savannah, Georgia, welcomed scientist and professionals from around the world to present their work in the field of integrated microsystems and nanotechnologies for chemistry and the life sciences.
